So you may ultimately be thinking of why I am posting this and honestly this has been such a hard post to write.
Recently having broken up from my (ex) boyfriend I have learnt a lot about myself including things I didn’t know before. I found it extremely difficult to deal with this breakup as it was my first, so I’m not gonna be petty and blame people on here and say exactly why we broke up but I thought this post may help some people who are either going through this or if you know someone who is.
One thing that I’ve learnt is vital is to rekindle hobbies that you love. For example with me I’ve kept going with my YouTube channel, restarted my passion for music and getting into photography more. All these photos on here have been taken by me and I’m really pleased with my progress in photography!
Another thing that I found really difficult was learning was being happy by myself. Which I do feel like I am, and I’m proud to say that! Some people can find it really difficult being happy by themselves especially if they’ve been reliant on other people for it!
Another thing to mention is that being alone isn’t a bad thing. Sometimes it’s just what you need. I know at the start of a breakup (for me anyway) it felt like the worst possible thing that had happened and I was never going to be happy by myself. But honestly it just takes time. Time can heal almost anything. With the situation I was in also really knocked my self confidence and my self worth. This is another thing I have had to learn and it probably one of the most important things to learn. If you can’t be happy by yourself/ love yourself how do you expect that with another person?
So this post was a sort of life update and helpful (hopefully) post in a way. But to lighten the mood before I end this post I wanted to end it saying 5 things that have happened which are amazing and I am super pleased with myself about!
1 – I hit 1K on Youtube and Im almost at 1.2 K so if you haven’t subscribed go and do so please it means so much to me!!
2 – I got into a danish exchange for my nursing degree which is coming up soon!
3 – I started running more and properly in order to prep for my half, so I completed my first 10 mile run the other day!
4 – Ive improved on my photography skills ( i think haha!)
5 – Im okay and Im happy with myself and the life Im living.
